Would you call them by his name?

Crowds of bare-knuckled boys — and their admirers — will be flocking to NYC from near and far this weekend for a determined attitude OUTSIDE The event: a Timothée Chalamet lookalike contest with a $50 prize for his most convincing, googly-eyed doppelgänger.

London student Octave Cusinberche, 22, is considering flying out of England – if his university finals go well this week.

“This is all very funny,” he told The Post. “Like, why not?”

The curly-haired French brunette is often said to resemble Chalamet, so Cusinberche hopes he has that je ne sais quoi the 28-year-old “Call Me By Your Name” sang from the heart.

Although he hasn’t bought a plane ticket yet, he said many people across the basin have been talking about the event, set for 1pm Sunday at Washington Square Park’s famous archway.

And while Cusinberche admitted the prize money wouldn’t come close to covering the cost of his ticket, at least the aspiring competitor still found justification to potentially make the trip.

“It’s a story about the grandchildren,” said Cusinberche, who submitted a photo to Partiful, an online party planning tool, in hopes of entering it into the American contest if he can’t make it.

Flyers for the competition have been seen around town since September and gained international attention a few weeks ago when one went viral on X.

Details are scarce, but there is a time, place and price in money.

The pages feature a QR code for an open event on Partiful, created by an anonymous host that advertises minimal information and a list of guests.

No one knows how it will go, but nearly 2,000 wanted “Wonka” actors have submitted RSVPs since a photo of a flyer on Howard Street went viral.

That’s how Reed Putnam, 21, of Ogdensburg, learned about the incident.

He didn’t believe it was true until he checked Partiful and saw all the participants. It was then that he realized “it was a big deal.”

The Chalamet clone uploaded a photo of himself to the event page and was pleasantly surprised by the response he received, with people sending friendly emojis, notes insisting he had a good chance of winning and messages asking to meet up.

“Honestly, it’s just fascinating,” he told The Post.

“It’s one of those things where you take something so small that it’s almost like a joke and then it becomes a big thing.”

The avid traveler is “excited” to use the event as an excuse to come to town because “Everybody’s going to have a good time.”

But a few shots at Chalamet don’t have to travel very far.

At Chalamet’s alma mater, New York University, leadership and management class of 2026 student Loris van Vlodrop, 19, told The Post he could enter the competition — coincidentally timed for his birthday — as a way to celebrate because “everyone” talking about it.

“When I saw it, I thought, you know, it’s a $50 price, nothing crazy,” the student and professional football player said. “But it’s more about the pride of this exclusive competition that will go down in history.”

He thinks the event may have been organized by a woman of a certain type or a film director on a budget looking for an off-brand Chalamet.

Others hope that Chalamet himself will be stopped from the event. One fan even crowdfunded $5,000 – 100 times the price tag – which they say will be donated to a charity of the actor’s choice if he comes for “a hot second” to “laugh”.

As of Wednesday, nearly 2,000 people have RSVPed. in part.com

His reps have yet to confirm to The Post whether or not the actor knows any of this.

But even if the actor doesn’t appear, most people seem happy with the prospect of a crowd of Chalamet wannabes.

Lily Jones, 22, told The Post she’s just “intrigued by the absurdity” and plans to attend the event with some friends.

“We think it’s fun,” she said. “And, you know, if a Timothée Chalamet happens to seduce one of my friends, that would be pretty funny.”
